Kick off the weekend with Penrith’s signature family-friendly event – Real Festival 2024!
If you’re travelling to Penrith for the first time, or you’re here before your big competition, experience Penrith like never before, join us at Real Festival!
Returning to Tench Reserve, this vibrant riverside celebration features live music, fantastic performances, and a diverse array of market stalls. Enjoy delicious food truck fare, marvel at creative art installations, and take in the stunning backdrop of the Nepean River.
Admission is FREE, so join us for one day or both! Get creative with hands-on workshops and activities, have fun at the Roller Rink by Busways, arcade games, and the Festival Bar, where you can sip on local beers while savouring food truck delights.

If you’re in the mood for cowboy vibes, boot scooting dancing and good times, Sunset Bash returns to The Backyard at Panthers Penrith.
This hit country music festival is set to be a showstopper with performances from Travis Collins, a 9-time Golden Guitar winner and 4-time CMC Award winner who has toured alongside US megastars Tim McGraw and Luke Combs!
Joining this incredible lineup are Duncan Toombs (2-time 2024 Golden Guitar winner), Wade Forster (Toyota Star Maker Winner 2024), Lane Pittman, Missy Lancaster, Andrew Swift, and Penrith local Cass Hopetoun.

Penrith is excited to host the Blacktown Red Belly Warriors for their knockout competition at The Kingsway, St Marys.
The Blacktown Western Warriors, an Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout Club established over 30 years ago, boast teams across various age groups: men’s, women’s, and 13, 15 and 17-year-old boys and girls.
Teams are invited to join the round-robin competition, with a range community stalls to browse and Elders presenting medals and trophies.
This event is the only Sydney-based tournament bringing teams from across NSW together. It offers a unique opportunity for teams to experience both culture and sport in Western Sydney. All spectators are welcome!
